For example on Windows 10 you should do the following: Task Manager = Startup tab = right click on AnyDesk and change it to disable. From Start-Up to Scale-Up Through >170% Revenue Growth
On March 3rd, even before the pandemic was declared, AnyDesk moved into a new office in the center of Stuttgart — because our start-up has become a scale-up! The rapid growth brought many new employees with it — so many, in fact, that we had outgrown our previous office. While we numbered 61 employees in December 2019, we’re ending this year with 97 employees. That’s 36 more employees than the year before! This growth is also reflected in our numbers: Increasing global demand for remote software solutions has led to year-over-year revenue growth of more than 170 percent. To meet global demand and position ourselves more strongly in particularly relevant markets, AnyDesk also expanded geographically: This year, the new North American headquarters opened in Clearwater, Florida.
AnyDesk and the HTC 5G Hub
We hit the next milestone in April, when Taiwanese consumer electronics manufacturer HTC became the first global player to partner with AnyDesk. Together we worked on the HTC 5G Hub, the world’s first smart hub capable of creating a home media center or mobile business network on the 5G network. AnyDesk is pre-installed on the HTC 5G Hub, thanks to our collaboration.
300 Million Downloads
What makes us especially happy is that you like our product so much. In May, we cracked 200 million downloads — that’s only 12 months after we hit 100 million downloads! As of last week, we can proudly announce: AnyDesk software already counts a total of 300 million downloads! This is all thanks to your support.
AnyDesk Version 6
These successes motivate us a lot. That’s why AnyDesk released a new version for you in July: Version 6. We listened to your feedback and implemented some new elements and features to make your user experience even better. In addition to administration features like Wake-On-LAN, Group Policy management, or Address Book usage on Android devices, we’ve also increased security at the same time with Group Policy support and Two-Factor Authentication.
Fast, Faster, AnyDesk
In September, we had two benchmark tests conducted by independent IT consulting firms. A total of 12 software solutions with remote desktop functions were tested and compared in the categories of frame rate, latency, bandwidth, and frame size. AnyDesk came out on top in all four test categories, scoring 45 and 40 points out of a maximum of 48.

In November, AnyDesk was part of VWE — the Virtual Workplace Evolution, a two-day event focused on IT workplaces, IT service delivery, and IT infrastructure. In a 15-minute tech take, our Director of Sales Felix Stichert presented the possibilities and advantages of AnyDesk software and remote access. He also presented various possible applications to illustrate that there is a tailored solution for every company and every area. We hope to contribute to the future of work.
